Fiddler On The Roof is a popular Broadway musical telling the story of a poor dairyman in pre-revolutionary Russia. Clinging to the traditions of his family and village he tries to marry off his five daughters by using the services of the village matchmaker, his daughters rebel and want to marry for love - what follows is a mix of laughter and tears and some of the most rousing and haunting songs in theatre history.
